The Challenge
Simeron Platinum, one of the largest platinum jewelry manufacturers in North America, needed to update their existing site for faster loading times, easier more intuitive navigation, and compatiility with popular search engines such as Google™.
The Solution
I converted a majority of the site from Flash to an xhtml/jsp based content delivery format as it fit within Simeron's budget. With keeping their existing site's design framework, I streamlined the site's design, implemented search engine safe urls, and optimize the site cut down on load time by 75%.
The Result
The website now indexable by Google™ allowed Simeron's products to be easily listed with Froogle™ and other listing services. Simeron's retail sales went up approximately 50% the first month after the updated site was launched.
