Last.fm has recently decided that they needed a slightly looser looking masthead, and i just noticed it. Me likes.

It comes in black too.

I often forget that sometimes a nothing more than a subtle update to a familiar interface or brand can help to keep things feeling fresh, even if there actually isn’t anything else substantial that’s going on.

Walmart recently revamped their logo, and I caught it in a broadcast ad. It gives me a smiley face to know that I will no longer have to look at theirs.

  1. they did more updates than just that. i haven't gone through to see just how much they changed, but i think its better. their UI still confuses me a bit sometimes though.
